GENERIC NAME:
Transmissible Gastroenteritis and Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Vaccine, Inactivated.
COMPOSITION:
The vaccine contains inactivated Porcine Transmissible Gastroenteritis virus and Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea virus.
CHARACTERISTIC:
Uniform pink suspension. Upon standing, the upper layer forms a clear red liquid, and the lower layer is a light gray precipitate. After shaking, it should become a uniform suspension.
INDICATION(S):
The product is used for the prevention of Porcine Transmissible Gastroenteritis and Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea. Primarily used for the vaccination of pregnant sows to confer passive immunity to their offspring. Also used for active immunization to protect pigs of different ages. Immunity is established 14 days after active immunization, lasting for 6 months. Passive immunity in piglets lasts from nursing to 7 days after weaning.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
Administered at the small depression between the tail root and anus. Needle depth varies according to the pig's age, ranging from 0.5 to 4.0 cm. For instance, 3 days old piglets receive injections at 0.5 cm depth, increasing with age up to 4.0 cm for adult pigs. Ensure the needle remains parallel or slightly elevated to the rectum during injection. Pregnant sows are injected with 4.0 ml of the vaccine 20-30 days before farrowing; their offspring are injected with 1 ml within 7 days after weaning. For piglets weighing less than 25 kg, administer 1.0 ml per head; for 25-50 kg growing pigs, administer 2.0 ml; for pigs over 50 kg, administer 4.0 ml.

1. Prevent exposure to high temperatures and sunlight during vaccine transportation. Shake thoroughly before immunization.
2. When administrating pregnant sows, proper restraint is essential to prevent abortion.
