GENERIC NAME:
Porcine Circovirus Type 2 Vaccine, Inactivated (Strain LG)
COMPOSITION:
The Porcine Circovirus Type 2 (Strain LG) contains not less than 105.5TCID50 per ml before inactivation.
CHARACTERISTIC:
Pink white emulsion.
INDICATION(S):
The product is used to prevent diseases caused by Porcine Circovirus Type 2 infection, suitable for piglets over 3 weeks old and adult pigs.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
Administer via intramuscular injection in the neck. Dilute with PBS to achieve a concentration of 1 dose/ml as indicated on the label.
Newborn piglets: Initial vaccination at 3-4 weeks old, followed by a booster vaccination every 3 weeks, 1 time, 1.0 ml/head.
Sows: Basic immunization twice before mating, with a 3-week interval, strengthened immunization once a month before delivery, 2.0 ml/head.
Sows during pregnancy: Immunization once a month before delivery, 2.0 ml/head.
Other adult pigs: General immunization every six months, 2.0 ml/head.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
No adverse reactions.
SPECIAL WARNING IF NECESSARY:
This product is only for vaccinating healthy pig herds.
1. Sick, weak, or pigs with abnormal body temperature or appetite are not suitable for vaccine injection.
2. Vaccines should be transported and stored under refrigeration, avoid freezing, and discard if clotting or discoloration occurs.
3. The vaccine should be brought to room temperature before use, thoroughly shaken, strictly disinfected, and used on the same day after opening.
4. Pigs may experience a transient rise in body temperature and reduced appetite after vaccination, typically recovering within 2 days.
5. In case of individual pigs experiencing allergic reactions, epinephrine can be used for treatment.
6. Unused vaccine and empty bottles should not be discarded randomly; they must be heated or sterilized before disposal.
